Add Savings to Your Tax Free Weekend


Kroger is offering 4x's the fuel points when you buy one of their hundreds of Gift Cards! If you plan on taking advantage of the tax free holiday this weekend make sure to get a gift to the store you will be shopping at so you can maximize your savings!

Texas Tax Free Holiday August 17, 18, and 19th

Does it feel like back to school time already? I seriously don't know where the time went. I wanted to remind you that August 17-19 is Texas Tax Free Holiday for back to school needs! Now this won't save you a ton of money (sales tax in Texas is 8.25%) but every lit bit helps. If you have any questions please refer to the state website.

Free Tax Weekend on High Energy Appliances/Goods

If you are in need of energy saving appliances or items, then the weekend of May 26th-28th may just be your weekend to get a great deal.  The state of Texas is offering the following items free of tax (which is 8.25%)!  I hope you take this time to do some price shopping and comparisons to see where the best deal is, it is very tempting to go crazy and buy things you have contemplated before.  However make sure you combine coupons, sales, and the sales tax discount to receive the maximum discount possible!
  • Air conditioners priced at $6,000 or less
  • Refrigerators priced at $2,000 or less
