Dollar Tree is starting to take Coupons!

It has been confirmed that Dollar Tree is going to start accepting coupons starting today! Here is a copy of their coupon policy, and it is important to take it with you as this is a brand new program and some stores might not be familiar with it.

The rundown of the coupon policy is this:

1. Only original and intact manufacturers’ coupons will be accepted. Retailer-specific coupons will not be accepted.
2. Coupons are void if copied, scanned, or if they have been altered in any way.
3. Only two (2) print-at-home Internet coupons may be redeemed per transaction.
4. We are unable to accept coupons for “Free” items with no purchase requirements or where the amount for the product is blank.
5. Coupons can only be used in stores and must be presented at time of purchase. Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash at a later time.
6. Coupons will not be accepted without the purchase of the item specified and are subject to the terms listed (e.g. expiration date, size, limitations, quantity, etc.).
7. Coupons cannot be redeemed for more than the purchase price of the item.
8. Only one (1) manufacturer’s coupon will be accepted per item.

                                   This should make for some awesome deals!

$10.20 at Kroger Mega Event!

Today I went back to Kroger to get some more things from their Mega Event and use some of the Kraft coupons for the $10 Kraft Catalina and I have to say I did pretty good!

Here is the scoop because there are sooo many deals it is a little complicated so read through carefully. Please read our post on the Kraft Catalina deal so you can understand exactly what items are on the list and how the Catalina works.  

For Kroger’s Mega Event you have to purchase items in quantities of 10 in order for this to work. If you want to know what is on the entire Mega  Event list you can see a list of participators located next to the in store ads near the grocery carts.  All of my prices reflect the $5 off the purchase of 10 Mega Event items.

$.16 Revlon Nail Polish at HEB

HEB has a yellow "B" coupon this week for $2.50 any Revlon product priced at $3.50 and over. I did my research and I wasn't able to come up with anything totally free but close to it. The Colorstay Nail Polish is $3.66 and if you combine the yellow coupon and the $1/1 Revlon Color Cosmetic, exp. 9/9/12 (SS 08/05/12) Manufacture Coupon that makes them $.16! Woo hoo! There are some pretty shades for the fall.

Now remember you can only combine "B" coupons with a manufacture coupon. You can find the letter on the bottom left hand corner of the Yellow HEB Coupon.

Remember that feeling the first day of school? Packing your backpack the night before and laying out all your new pens and pencils? Thinking to yourself how you couldn't wait to show off your new supplies to your friends?  Fortunately, you were one of the lucky ones because for many children they never know this feeling. 

I wanted to take the time to remind you if you come across some back to school deals that are awesome and your family has enough don't hesitate to grab some extra for those in need. I have heard a lot of startling statistics on the amount of children in the Cypress area that go back to school with no supplies. The YMCA is reporting around 40,000!
