Target Thursdays

I found a couple things worth mentioning today while combing Target.

I found these dog toys on sale for $1.48, they were orginally $4.99! 70% off and for a package of three it makes each toy just $.49.

Lunchables are on sale for $1 and combine that with the $1/2 Lunchable Target coupon, it makes them $.50 each.

School supplies are 70% off or more, so make sure to check out the deals!

There are these composition notebooks that are $.30 and they are filled with $5 worth of coupons! Including $.75/1 box of Puffs, $1/1 Scotch pop up tape despenser, and $1/1 Scotch Sissors.

There was also many toys that were marked clearance. This Thomas the Train puzzle was orginally $8.99 and was marked down to $3.99.

I am posting this because some of you may be back to school shopping and some of you may have girls. Today only at Hartstring they are offering 75% off your entire purchase of Spring and Summer clothes on their KC Parker line. I have bought clothes from this company before and I can affirm they are good quality and adorable. I can also affirm that they are a little pricey but not today! It is for today only August 21st  and you can use code 82112 and get 25% off their fall line with the same code.

Here is an example of what I did....

I saved $117 off the MSRP!

Get a little...Give a lot!

Remember that feeling the first day of school? Packing your backpack the night before and laying out all your new pens and pencils? Thinking to yourself how you couldn't wait to show off your new supplies to your friends?  Fortunately, you were one of the lucky ones because for many children they never know this feeling.

I wanted to take the time to remind you if you come across some back to school deals that are awesome and your family has enough don't hesitate to grab some extra for those in need. I have heard a lot of startling statistics on the amount of children in the Cypress area that go back to school with no supplies. The YMCA is reporting around 40,000! Here is just a little bit of what I will be donating this year and it cost me $0! But the feeling of knowing I brightened a child's day by donating some crayons is priceless!

If you are looking for places to drop off some supplies for charity the local Kroger, HEB, and YMCA are all collecting, along with local churches and foodbanks.
